I am extremely worried. I am 4 weeks out of surgery and have only lost 5 lbs. This is extremely frustrating. I am eating exactly what he told me to. I am drinking water and taking my vitamins. What is wrong with me?

Every body is different, so nobody loses at the same rate. You're adjusting to MAJOR surgery, be patient with your body!

How much fluid are you getting every day?  How much protein?

Well if you're sticking to your portion sizes, try not to worry!  The weight will come off - always slower than we want it to, but you'll reach your goal if you stick to your plan.

You may be in a stall, happens to all of us.  I have actually had weeks where I have gained a pound or two, but then I get back on track.  Keep following the plan and it will work.  Good luck!

Are you walking?  You need to walk.  Try at the very least 20 min per day.  You can break it up if you need to.  If you're eating protein and water but not exercising (walking), then you're just putting on calories and not burning any.
