I have officially hit ONEderland! I had my doctor appointment this morning and their scale said 198! (Though my scale said 196 ) Anyways my doctor said it seems like I was doing great and told me to keep up the good work. I have been released to start pureed foods. He wants me on that for 2 months though. Which wow seems crazy long. But I am just so excited that I don't care lol. I don't go bac****il 2 months from now too.

He also told me that I was cleared for everything else not food related. So basically he said I could start strength training with no restrictions... This actually surprised me, I figured I wouldn't be cleared for weights for a few more weeks... I don't want to pull anything but he said I was all cleared.

Anyways I was super excited and wanted to share. I also had some scrambled eggs with milk and cheese earlier and feel great. I of course ate less that 2tbsp but stopped when I felt restriction like I was told. Let me tell you it felt amazing to be able to have some real food after a month of nothing but liquids. I think I've went on long enough! Sorry for rambling!!

Be careful and listen to your body. I didn't get approval for lifting anything heavy for 6 weeks. You're already eating eggs with no problem, that's pretty good. I was still on liquids 2 weeks post-op. Sounds like you're off to a good start! Congratulations.

Yeah I was shocked he said I was cleared for weights. I don't want to get a hernia or anything from lifting too early. Thank you!!! :) I am so glad I tolerated eggs, i was worried!

Great!

Just remember to take it slow with increasing exercise.  Most injuries occur because people try to do too much too fast.  And, if you're anything like me, you suck at "listening to your body."  I spent 37 years ignoring my body so learning how to listen to it this past year has been a challenge!

Yeah, I am nervous about hurting myself. A few years ago I worked out a lot so I am hoping I can still manage to listen to my body! Thank you!
