Super frustrated! What am I doing wrong?

Hi all!  I'm new here & hoping that you all can offer some kind of advice or insight or even just some encouragement because I am totally frustrated with what I assume is a stall.

I was sleeved on 2/23/15, so it's only been about 3 weeks since my surgery but I haven't lost weight since week 1!  I weighed 313 at my heaviest before starting the pre-op diet, 293 on surgery day and now the scale has been stuck at 282 for the last 2 weeks!  Is it normal to stall just one week after surgery?  The first week was pretty brutal for me, and I barely got anything down.  I ended up being admitted for dehydration at the end of the first week, but I haven't had any problems since then.  I know I'm not hitting my protein goals every single day & I still struggle with getting in 64oz of fluids, but I'm definitely not overeating.  I'm on the mashed/pureed part of the post op diet. This week, I've averaged around 500-600 calories a day, 11-15g of fat a day, no sugar and I hit my protein goal 3 days in a row.  I don't get less than 48oz of fluids (mostly water, although I do have the occasional diet Snapple).  I'm not doing any hardcore exercise, but I do walk our dogs multiple times a day and I'm pretty active around the house, cleaning, running errands, shopping, etc.

Am I not doing enough?  This is crazy frustrating!  I'm starting to have a little buyer's remorse.  Is there anything I can do to kick this stall's butt?  Again, any advice/info/encouragement is greatly appreciated

I know that it is super frustrating,  but an early stall is very common. There are many posts where people mention the "3 week stall". Just keep doing what you are doing and you will start back losing eventually.

So I think there are two things going on here.  One - most people gain weight from surgery due to the fluids we get pumped full of.  Two - you got pumped full of fluids a second time due to dehydration!  So you've got a double whammy.

Work really hard to get in your liquids - that is your JOB right now.  The weight will come off. :)

Up tha****er intake to 64 oz. per day (at least) and be patient.  I see you didn't list how many carbs you're getting a day.  Make sure to keep those to 40 grams a day or below and let nature take it's course.

You're not going to lose weight every day or every week.  Later on you may not even lose weight every month.  Get used to it because it's just the nature of the beast.  As long as you are walking a narrow path of integrity with your program, the results are guaranteed.

I really believe the proverbial 3 week stall happens to help us break our scale dependency! I still get on that silly thing every day but know I know it can go up and down and stay the same and my clothes may fit better (or worse) and there is nothing the scale will tell me I can't figure out from the clothes.

You are going thru the process and doing what you are supposed to. But some of this is "head work". More than you may have guessed going in.

Hang in there- Did you have measurements taken before surgery? If you did the take them again. They can change even when the scale does not. If you din't, take  them now. This will happen again. Trust me.
