"Don't get too skinny" (RANT)
I'm 170 lbs -- seriously?
The girls at my hockey game last night were like -- "you aren't trying to lose more weight right?"
and this morning my son was like "mom you are going to get too skinny"
I know a lot of people hear this a lot sooner than I have. But jeez -- first - I'm not trying to lose anymore weight and second -- I'm no where near underweight. I'm fit and solid. Underweight at my hieght is like 135 lbs. Come on people! Just b/c I eat healthy and exercise doesn't mean I will fade away.
End rant!
The comments will stop when people get used to seeing you at this smaller size. The danger only comes when we start to believe them (and use them as an excuse to gain weight).

Seriously.
My mom actually got pissed at me the other day for saying that I'm still fat.

I've been getting that already even though my bmi days I'm obese. I shake it off figuring people are stupid and don't know what to say. For example, a coworker said if better slow down or I'll be thinner than her. Another time she said she needs to diet or before she knows it, I'll weigh less than her. Weird.
First, she's overweight so why wouldn't I want to be thinner than her? Second, I'm insulted that she is so afraid of the possibility that she could weigh more than me... makes me feel fat shamed.
I've gotten a few of those "you'll be lighter than me, oh noes" comments and I really don't know how to react. "Well.. you've been lighter than me, so how about we switch?" I mean, really. People just do not think before they let stupid fall out of their mouths.
