Chike is a high protein coffee. You can get it from Amazon (and other places too).

I ran my third 5k today and it was freaking awesome.  Here's what I posted about it on Facebook:

Today was my 3rd 5k and I'm super pleased. I was aiming for a personal record, but I missed it by 7 seconds. I know why, and I know that I could have gotten under 50 minutes if I hadn't been nice and paced with someone I met who was slower. The knowledge that I could have done this is enough to make me feel really proud and successful!

I also had a good experience waiting for R to finish his marathon. I splurged for the VIP pass and was in a nice semi-heated tent. I got to chat with other runners and it was pretty fantastic.

I really, really like the running community. The only competition is against oneself which makes it super welcoming. I love that there are people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. I've never felt judged or slighted even by the fastest and longest distanced runners. Races are an unbelievably amazing time. I'm so grateful that I can be a part of them now!

So my eating today is a bit strange.

1: frankenshake
2: post race food - 3 bananas, 1 cup of hot tea, 2 cups chicken broth, 3 donut holes, 1/2 roast beef sandwich innards
3: tuna salad bowl
4: ??

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: 5K!!!!  Official time: 51:28 | Runkeeper time: 53:42 for a total of 3.48 miles

The sunshine never managed to appear here today :( Temperatures are nice enough but cloudy the next several days. Oh well, at least it's warm enough to walk outside again.
