Thank you all! I was remembering reading how much some folks walked after surgery and there's just no way - I walk every time I stand up, but I'm nowhere near 10K steps/day now - and I can't imagine being there for another couple weeks. Three minutes of walking & I'm ready for a nap!

We talk about surgery so casually out here that it's often forgotten that even though elective, these procedures are a MAJOR surgery.  Your body will need a few weeks of recovery time to rest, and if you push too early, you may need even more time.  Your goal right now is 64oz of fluids each day.  That alone is a full-time job.  Your body repairs itself as you rest and sleep, so allow it.  It was a good 6 weeks before I felt like myself again.

I have felt pretty good. Not really overly tired! But I handle surgeries/sickeness very well. I slept a lot on day 2 after surgery but since then I've been awake all day. From 7am to 10pm.   I was sleeved on March 9th!
