I think I should avoid working from home -- it makes my snacking a bit out of control...  The scale hasn't been affected (yet), but I know it's a prob.  I'm at work today and it's a hungry day, but keeping busy & on track.  I've been dialing back my exercise (b/c my body is not recvering well -- I think I was over-training) and I'm a bit nervous the scale will react.  

 

Ok onto the food -- what's your plan today?

B - chike

S - fage & coffee

L - chicken curry

S - string cheese & apple

D - turkey burger & veg

S - orange & nuts

E - hockey tonight -- maybe a run this afternoon

W - on track

V - at lunch

B- Protein shake with banana

L- leftover guts of cheesesteak (ordered without bread, half last night's dinner), asparagus with 1/2 a melted light mini babybel.  I dropped the other half :(

S- Light & Fit Greek yogurt

D- Crab salad with celery and asparagus

S- a no sugar added fudgesicle or two

E- walking towards 10,000 steps

V- check

W- on track

Trying to get on track this week! 

B: large iced coffee with cream

L: 4oz sirloin steak with 1.5 slices cheese

S: dannon light n fit Greek yogurt,  Boston cream pie flavor

D: salad with either grilled chicken or sirloin steak

S: maybe a protein shake in the blender! 

 

I got two fabulously delicious sirloin steaks from my father abd I've been eating them sliced on top of a small salad...super filling! Eating the steak and grilled chicken is going to be my plan of action to get through this weekend At work. Trying to detox from creeping carbs over the next few days. 

I've also found that I drink more iced coffee when I'm cutting down on carbs. Don't know if it's a good or bad thing,  but I need to focus on more water too.

Ok, the day was different than above,  but still not bad. 

B: iced coffee with cream

L: 4oz sirloin steak with 1.5 slices cheese 

L2?: 1/2c kale salad,  few slices of boars head chipotle chicken

S: iced coffee,  pork rinds

D: eggplant rollatini stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella,  homemade marinara

I ate several smaller meals,  though still probably less than what I HAVE been eating. Low carbs though. Hoping once I'm back into ketosis the hunger will subside a bit. 

For beverages,  I had a large iced coffee, medium iced coffee,  large glass of water,  can of diet gingerale, can of diet root beer,  can of diet 7up, and two large glasses of water. WAY more soda than I usually drink,  but they helped my cravings for sweets. 

I'm also on a steroid pack right now so looking forward to how that's going to bloat me and what it's going to do to my blood sugar...

Breakfast - crustless cheeseburger quiche

Lunch -  bacon cheese chicken and broccoli slaw 

Dinner - spinach quiche

Snack - humus and crackers

vitamins - on track

water - ok

exercise - recumbent bike

Yay Friday!  Since I'm not going to get to spend much time with P this weekend due to my race taking up most of Saturday and then going back to PA on Sunday, he and I are going on a lunch date today.  I'm excited.

exercise: 60 minutes yoga (15 min morning stretches for back pain, 15 min twist & align for back pain, 30 min beginner combination)

Yeah, I do NOT like spending lots of time in my home.  I may only have pickles and peanuts to snack on, but those can add up!  Well, the peanuts can...

My out of control snacking caught up with me.  Up 1 lb from yesterday and almost 2 from earlier in the week.  Back to being strict today

B:  steel cut oats

S:  Nope!

L:  2 oz turkey on a salad of lettuce and a few pickle slices with lite italian dressing

S:  Iced coffee

D:  chicken and veg

S:  maybe!

V:  not yet

W:  yes

E:  walked through lunch (fitbit steps are good!)

Non traditional protein breakfast today. Really has boosted my protein for the day. I'll have to try this more often. Of course, calories are up a little, too

Met with my trainer (that I've been training in a group-setting with for 4 months) for our first 1-on-1 last night.  And he kicked my butt!  My muscles are sore, but my head is feeling great!

B - coffee

Sn - ham & cheese rollup

L - 2 bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp, chips & guac

D - leftovers (chicken green enchilada meatballs)

Sn - if I need one - apple

W - doing ok

V - am, done!  pm
