You're 6 weeks out & lost 22lbs?, that's freakin awesome! Stop being so hard on yourself, you're only a little more than a month out from major surgery & you're losing weight while your body is healing.
Try not to compare yourself to others or even yourself pre surgery, sure you may have dropped 30 lbs in a month b4, but at the time you weren't healing from major surgery, getting the drugs out your system,or your body going thru flip flops trying to get its groove back either.
Some people might feel ok weight loss should happen right now, this very second, as soon as the surgeon closes you up, the body might be like hold up, get a grip, I'm adjusting here!
You're doing great, just stick with your drs plan & the weight will come off. Sorry I might have rambled a bit.

I appreciate your post. I'm 5 weeks out and sometimes feel a little frustrated with the numbers on the scale. I know that I need to stop being hard on myself because I'm doing pretty well.
