Four years and fabulous!!!

Hello fellow sleevers! It's been a very long time since I've checked out the scene here but I'm at four years so wanted to do a little update. The updates from others when I started really helped me see there was life beyond the beginning of this journey. So the numbers ...highest 370, Current weight I bounce between 165 and 170. I like to keep my loss number at or over 200!! Insane to think about but also kinda cool. I can eat way more than when I started so it's more important than ever to keep making the right food choices. I've had all the plastic surgeries needed to remove the skin and for the first time in my life can look at my nekked self and be proud of what I see. My first plastics was two years after the sleeve and my final was August 2014. That alone makes it alllll worth it. Hang in there newbies. It gets so much better. Promise!!!

Thank you! And no my neck didn't need to be touched. I uploaded a current pic to albums but can't cut it small enough to change as profile picture.

Good job!  Congratulations.  I met with the surgeon for the first time yesterday.  He said the original sleeve can hold approx. 3-4 ounces at a time, but over the years it MIGHT stretch enough to hold 5-6 ounces.  There simply isn't enough long-term studies yet to know for sure.

Thank you all! And as for stomach size it also depends how much of your stomach the surgeon leaves behind. No two docs are identical

thanks for sharing, my personal goal is 160 my doc didn't give me a goal but I want to get to 160.  I' m almost a year out and am losing really slowly now but I've upped my exercise routine.  Thank you for giving me more renewed hope.  You're beautiful! & congratulations for doing so great & being a success.
