Went home to see my family
I hadn't seen my parents and sisters except via facetime, so they knew that I was loosing weight but they didn't truly see the amount. So this was a good vacation. My mom wasn't overly excited about the surgery but when she saw me she was sooo happy. I hadn't gone to the store to do any clothes shopping, so I didn't truly know the size I was. (22W-24W before surgery
) Needless to say I was still wearing clothes that were wayyyy to big. Of course my sisters and mom wanted to go shopping cause my clothes were unacceptable. To my surprise I was able to go into stores like Ralph Lauren and wear the size 14.
That's right I said size 14. I was on a high everyday after that. I danced around all the time. I couldn't be more happy with having done the Verticle Sleeve. And to top it off, when I go home, I immediately jumped on the scale and I didn't not gain weight but actually lost 2 pounds. (Thanks to the help of my family) My family was good about making sure I didn't eat anything that was allowed on the diet.
