Isn't it amazing how much junk food is located in a healthcare setting?  Boggles my mind every day...

I'm really glad to hear that your dad came through his surgery and is doing better.  And good job on getting exercise in every day.

What hospital are you in? I work in many of the large hospitals in and around Philly and new jersey area. I might be able to stear you to some healthy choices.

Hospitals are tough!  There's the incredible stress and incredible boredom.  My mom went into the ICU about 3 months after I had surgery and I was there every day for about three weeks.  I had just barely graduated to regular food and the cafeteria didn't really have a whole lot for me.  I pretty much lived on their chili and had to give the pizza, pasta and Subway a pass!

Good for you for keeping up your physical activity!  I hope your dad continues to improve.

I'm so happy that your dad is doing better since his surgery.  The stress you're under must be overwhelming right now
