Paid for operation by insurance or Self Paid?

I am scheduled for VSG in 6 weeks. Was on a waiting list (Oh Canada) then decided to Self Pay.

Many other Canadians out there that went that way? Self Pay in Canada?

I don't know of Canadians going for self-pay in Canada, however many have gone to the neighboring US states (Michigan was popular) and Mexico.

We started out the same weight and almost same height. I was self pay in Michigan for a total cost of $11,209.  Good luck 

Where are you in Canada?

I do know of people travelling (from Ontario) and self-paying in Quebec (with Dr. Michael Gagner). Self-paying in Ontario is not an option.

I am just back from Mexico.  Total cost, 4700.00 with one of the best in Mexico, Dr. Kelly.

I am booked for VSG in Ontario for April 27th. Cost is 18,500. all in cost less my flights from Vancouver to Toronto. I am from Toronto and have family support there. Works for me?
