A tale of two Vegas visits
The last time I was in Las Vegas, I weighed 227 pounds. That was last May. It was well into the 100s and I felt as though I was dragging myself everywhere. In point of fact, I was. Walking the casinos made me tired. Walking down the street made me yawn. The fatigue was too much.
At least, I told myself, I have something to look forward to.That, of course, was the bariatric surgery I had the following month. Today I am in Vegas at 148 pounds, walking mile after mile and loving it (though my feet are sore!). No more dragging, schlepping, sweating. It is a revolution.
Thank you all SO much for being part of my journey!
My Nightmare as well. Glad you have turned the corner on Life!

That's a great NSV! I experienced the same thing but not with such a drastic loss. Still it was a great difference! I was there last June at around 250. It was torture!he heat was unbearable and my hips ached to walk down the street. I was there again at the end of January and what a difference! I was down only 35 lbs from surgery but the walking this time felt great!! In fact, my Vegas jaunt helped me break a stall! I came back with a 4 lb drop. Yay! Vegas!!
