Got back from my short vacation on Monday and then went out to eat for my aunt's birthday dinner that evening. Suffice it to say that Tuesday my scale was not happy. Yesterday I began my new regimen. I have quite a lofty goal. I may not reach it. But I am going to work towards it. My goal is to be "half of myself" by my 5 year surgiversary. That means 20lbs. by May 26th. I figure shoot for the moon and maybe you'll hit the stars. In the alternative, I want to be my "lowest weight ever." I was 149 at one point in the past. So if I can get down to 148 (about 11lbs. away) then I can say I did it. I'm going to try and manage my expectations so I am not deterred.
B-1 eggo waffle, 1 Tbsp. peanut butter, 1/2 banana, coffee
L-chick-fil-a 8 count chicken nuggets (I actually ordered grilled and a fruit cup. Came back with fries so I returned it to them. Got home to find fried and not grilled nuggets. I cannot win. They were trying to sabotage me!)
S-1/3 c. wasabi peas, mini turkey jerky links
D-1 c. chili with beans, sprinkling of shredded cheddar, 1 glass red wine (woohoo not 2)
Exercise--big deal for me! I actually finally went to a bodypump workout! It was only 30 minutes but oh holy cow the lunges and squats with weights. I'm finding it hard to sit now! Going down stairs is impossible. But I will keep it up!
