Did anyone fly before and after surgery? Is there anything I can do or pack with me, to make my surgery easier? Please let me know!

you will need to walk a few minutes every hour after surgery to prevent blood clots

camm the airline  and check what you can and can't carry on the plane , liquids , protien powder ect

if you are leaving the country make shore your pass port and visa are up to date

take pictures of any valuables you are taking to prove to took them out of the country so you will not need to pay taxes to bring them back ( camera jewlary ect)

get travel insurance in case your flight is canceled or a problem with the hotel

Wife and I flew from Atlanta to San Diego to have surgery in Mexico.

Wear compression socks on the way home and get up a few times during the flight and walk to the bathroom and back.
