My doc only said 60-90 grams of protein.  I try to stay at no more than 800 calories most days and I don't track carbs per se but I do try to limit them to only really awesome carbs that are a treat for me.

You'll find different answers for this question. My NUT told me to have 64 grams of protein (this was based on my height), no more than 35-40 grams of carbs and 64 ounces of fluids. She isn't concerned about calories, as much as she is about carbs.

I've got a protein goal (60-80 grams), a liquid goal (64 ounces minimum), and a limit on my meals (3 meals a day, no snacks, 4-8 ounces each).  I avoid liquid calories aside from my breakfast protein shake, I skip processed carbs, primarily eat protein, and don't worry about fat or sodium.  I've lost 135 pounds in the last 13 months, so something must be working right!

Thats awesome!  Im still not able to eat more than 3-4 oz at a time though. Anything more and it will come up. I still have to eat more than 3 times though in order to get my protein all in

I haven't had a problem since 4 months out or so. But I start the day with a shake that gets me almost halfway to my goal, so getting the rest of my protein from 2 4-ounce solid meals works well for me.
