What foods do you eat when you have diarrhea?

The usual rule with diarrhea is a low fiber/low residue diet...the BRAT diet, (Bananas, applesauce, rice and toast.)  My appetite is fine, but even sips of fluid cause the delightful gut cramps.  I have been doing broth and some bread and rice (which doesn't make me feel great...)

How long have you had the diarrhea? Any antibiotics in the last 2 months? Any major medical problems such as diabetes, kidney problems, etc?

Barring any major medical conditions, probiotics, yogurt with live cultures and no other dairy, no caffeine, low fat, and yes on what you mentioned. The diarrhea trumps the normal diet until it is under control...that is how I've approached the couple of times I have had to deal with the nasty D word. ;)

Yogurt.  Gah.  So obvious.  I even bought probiotics.

No other medical problems.  Just looking for favorite comforting foods. :)
