My name is gwen I'm a former lap land patient I had to have it removed because it slipped it was unfilled for over a year then when refill began problems started...so I'm being revised to a sleeve my surgery should be in June I began at 381 in 2008 im 333 now I didn't gain any when my band was removed which the Dr said was surprising...I lost 2lbs...Im losing about 2lbs per month I have come here to get support and up that loss I need motivation and to exercise...most days I feel awful I have afib, diabetes, high blood pressure plus aches and pains ..and 4 kids ages 20,17,9, and 3 they keep me stressed but blessed I have been married almost 21 years... hello everyone

if you can lose after the band is removed you will do great with the sleeve

 i feel much better now after my sleeve and am off insulin and  byetta  since my surgery only taking metiformin and my a1c is 5.8

my knees and back rarLY HURT ANY MORE

 try aqua aerobic it is great exercise and easy on the back and legs

Wish we had aqua aerobics I live in a tiny town and nearest town is only 7,000 people so nothing great all my exercise has to at home I'm 22 miles from civilization lol I need.to.exercise but when everything hurts and no.energy it's.tough pls.4 kids ...then again I'm making excuses too...I did exercise today but not for long but any counts.right?
