can anyone recommend a bariatric surge for the sleeve near El Paso, TX including any...

I was sleeved by Dr Aceves in Mexicali 6 1/2 years ago and now have a friend who lives in El Paso *****ally wants a sleeve. She is considering a surgeon in Tijuana which would require a flight to San Diego and I thought I'd see if anyone could recommend a surgeon near El Paso, including Mexico, and any prices. Thanks for any help!!!

I'm not sure of proximity to El Paso but I am scheduled to have surgery with Dr Alvarez with Endobariatric on Tuesday.  He is located in Piedras Negras Mexico. Right across the border from Eagle Pass TX. His cost is $8500. I am sure there are a lot of others but he is all I am familiar with. Good luck to your friend.

I had my sleeve done with Dr. Alvarez. He has done over 6,000 sleeves. He is amazing!

Dr Alvarez is an excellent surgeon. 

I was sleeved in Tijuana with Dr Lopez.    I have had no complications and had a great experience.  My cost was $4500.  The cost of an air ticket to San Diego for the right surgeon is minimal. I would research flights to SD. I researched air fares and scheduled my surgery so that I would be flyng on the most economical dates. Southwest flies from El Paso to SD and the best thing about Southwest is that you can change your flights without penalty if something comes up. 

If you can find a surgeon who is close for the same cost them that, of course, is ideal but I wouldn't let location be the driver.
