Queasy in the mornings

I am 3-1/2 months out and I am queasy every morning for about 2 hours. I usually have a protein shake then wait 1/2 hour and have 20 oz water with my powder vitamins mixed in. I have also tried water first then wait 1/2 hour and have my shake. I still feel the same way. It does go away, but I can't do anything during the time I am queasy. Are any of you experiencing this now or have you experienced this? Does it go away? (Have been this way since surgery). Thank you!

Try a warm drink first thing in the morning. Ginger or peppermint tea would work or diet hot cocoa. I drink two cups of decaf coffee. For some reason the warm liquid is soothing to the stomach. Make sure you drink it slowly. Drinking too fast can make you feel queasy.

This morning I heated up my protein drink (do not have any decaf tea or coffee) and I am saving my vitamins and medications for later. So far so good. Thanks again!

That could be it, as I have been drinking just 64 oz and quit early. I will try this as well. Thank you very much!

maybe the vitamins on an essentially empty stomach? Vitamins without food make me sick,

I can switch when I have my vitamins to later in the day. Great advice from all. I am going to switch things up tomorrow. Thank you for responding!

Thank you! I am going to try all of the advice I get to see what works best. Green mint tea sounds so soothing!
