Ursodiol - Anyone else take this?

I took it for 3 months post op, started having gallstones 7 months after surgery and just had my gallbladder removed last month 11 months post op

Thanks for sharing your experience, Kellie!  I have read this a couple of times now (about needing it despite taking the medication).  I was hoping the meds was something new, different that helps prevent them.  I guess everyone's body is different.  

Many have gone back into surgery to remove the gallbladder despite religiously taking Ursodiol and Actigall.  If you can talk them into removing it when you get the sleeve, nothing to worry about at all.

Oh how I wish I could.  I haven't brought it up actually, but not a bad idea.  I'm assuming though that because I've not experienced any issues, that may not be something they will just do.  I appreciate the good idea and will see what they say.  Never huts to ask, right?
