Happy 2 year surgerversary to me!

I'm not around on the forums too much. I lurk more than I post. I had surgery 2/18/2013 and it is still the best decision I have ever made. I wake up today weighing the least I have in almost 15 years. I am 146.1 and I am in a healthy BMI of 24.3. I am still 6.1 pounds from my ultimate goal, but I am still losing. It's a very slow process at this point, but I am still going and I am ok with that.

I post this for two reasons. One, to toot my own horn because why not? Two, to let others know that this is so worth it. It is still hard work. The further out we get the harder it is. I struggle on a daily basis, but it is easier now than it was 106 pounds ago!

Anyway, have a good day y'all!

Thank you. It's weird to think of myself as a success story haha. In the same sense that it is weird to be called tiny, skinny, or any other word to indicate people see me as thin.

You are indeed a success story and should be very proud of yourself. You and I started off on the same weight and my goal from my surgeon is also 140. I'm 11 weeks post-op and now weigh 168. I'm in no hurry to lose my weight, taking it day by day and watching my carbs. Thanks again skinny!
