Still have copper toxicity

Oh Gwen I am so terribly sorry to hear about your dad. Heartbreaking. I know you visit them often (especially now).
That must be totally frustrating on the copper info. I can't offer advice, but I am glad your hematologist and medical team are looking into it and searching for solutions. Keep us posted.
Thinking of you as you head to PA to be with your family.

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad.
I hope they figure out what is going on with your copper levels and you can get re-balanced to a normal level.

Gwen,
I am so sorry to hear about your father. I don't have any words of wisdom but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I can't imagine how frustrating it is trying to figure out your high copper levels. Hopefully they will figure it out quickly so it will be one less thing for you to worry about.
I realize your post was back in feb. and I hope your Dad is doing well. I too have very high copper levels and they are continuing to get higher while all other levels are good. Have you learned anything?
Unfortunately, I am and have been having lots of GI problems which have caused me to take disability retirement and after 2 years we are managing symptoms, but no cause. The copper blood levels could be a red herring or the real cause.
Thanks
I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

Sadly, I haven't found anything out. The hematologist was a dead end - he had me increase my iron, but that did nothing. I actually just followed up with my PCP today and the next step is to see an endocrinologist. I'll try to make an appointment for that tomorrow. Good luck - it sounds like you're having a rough time of things :(
