THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE
When I finally got my surgery date (3-11-15) I started to really research the sleeve and compared to the lap band to make sure what I wanted because the sleeve is just final, no reversal nor removing. I opted for the sleeve because this is a for the rest of my lifetime journey so it is a final decision. No turning back... nope.. not an option. But I spent quite a bit of time on you tube checking out testimonials for both VSG and lap band (definitely more favorable ones for VSG). On one of the testimonials was a link to OH. So I thought check it out. I haven't been back to youtube in a couple of weeks. The forums on here are enlightening and everyone is knowledgeable and very helpful. I don't know how to do a blog but am going to use my profile for my "journal" so that I can look back in a few months or years and see where I have come from. Thank you for being there now and in the future.. psren13
If you want to set up a blog, I recommend checking out blogspot or wordpress, both are great for most people!
And your surgery is almost on my surgiversary - yay March!

Hi, I did the same thing. Started with youtube, went from there to OH. I've told my Dr about this forum and she has shared it with other patients. Real people who have experienced what you're going through gives me a huge sense of security! I'm always so appreciative that my posts are always commented on, if only by 2 or 3 people. I get both praise and much needed advice here. Love it.
