VSG on 01/26/15

Three weeks ago I had my VSG Surgery. I have lost 32.1 pounds as of today, 11.5 of that Post-Op. I hit a stall last week, so I lost 1 1/2 pounds, not the 5 pounds I had lost each of the previous 2 weeks. But notice that i did NOT say "Only 1.5 pounds", because I had NSV's that prove I am still losing weight.

-My body fat % dropped from 53.0% to 52.3%, for a total of .7% last week.

-My FitBit Band became loose and I was able to move it over two notches.

-Two different shirts with buttons that I wore last week, I was able to button some of the buttons (never before).

-I met a friend at a Cafe that is a favorite of hers...it has the most delicious breads, but I had only coffee and did not feel deprived (Coffee is not yet back to being an everyday routine yet).

-I went down one size of jeans!

I am so thankful to have had this surgery!

Kay :-)

Awesome Kay!!   That is wonderful!!   I'm almost four weeks out and have had a little stall too.  Love the NSV's!!   I am going to start doing that!  Thanks for the idea!

Congratulations! Keep it up!

I have been considering having VSG for a while now. I finally scheduled my initial appt- it is tomorrow am. I am nervous and hope to be able to be in your position right now. Enjoy each small milestone you hit!

You have your head on straight and are thinking this thru.  Every body should read your post at three weeks out.(or better before)

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
