Spearmint gum and mints help curb my eating.. with a mouth full of minty taste, anything else I pop in there tastes bleah

Hi Tazman! Long time no "see". Sorry to hear about your regain, but you know, it happens. I'm glad that you are trying to "regain" control!

My advice is going to be slightly different. I want you to get back on track and the only way I know to do that is this: EAT ALL YOU WANT OF DENSE PROTEIN AND VEGGIES. Seriously, eat ALL you want. Do this for three days while pounding water between your eating. This will hopefully put your carb cravings to be - should you have any.

Then, being a guy, I wouldn't recommend doing the strict 3 meals a day thing - unless that's how you roll. Me, I like 5 times a day. This is what I do and what works for me (I'm in the process of getting a bit of regain off, too).

Breakfast drink (usually about 7:30 am) - Protein Coffee

Breakfast 2 (10:00 am) - 1 egg, 2 oz dense protein, celery stalk or carrots with some salad dressing

Lunch (noon)- 3-4 oz dense protein 1/2 cup veggies

Afternoon (3 or 4ish) - 1/2 oz nuts, small apple, 1 TBS PB - or a repeat of lunch - just depends on my mood.

dinner - repeat of lunch

Evening snack (when I want it) - 1/2 cup greek yogurt (plain) with 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries TBS chopped nuts.

The way I see it is that you lost a boat load of weight. You know what it takes, but it's also a different story in one way because your capacity has increased. Just remember to focus on high protein, moderate fat and low, low carbs. They weight will start coming off again.

You have lost it before you can do it again!! Here is what I would do.  I would do two weeks of liquid diet (protein shakes).  I know it is hard but you will drop 10-15 pounds quickly and shrink your stomach.  Then I would pre-pack your snacks, so much easier when you have a plan.  Snacks Hard-boiled eggs, cheese, jerky.  If you get on pintrist there are all kinds of sleeve recipes, snack ideas.  Good luck.....you can do this!!

Thank you all for the advise and I AM using it. I have found that I do graze while I drive and it has to do with boredom. I am taking ideas off pinterest and when I get time to cook for the week I will be making easy meals and snacks for myself. Like all of you said cut carbs and water,water,water thats a key right there I have laxed on the water and protein drinks I have been off them to long.. I have been drinking diet snapple tea 05-15 cal per bottle.
