What questions should I ask???
I wish I saved my list, but I asked things like what the diets were, what the vitamins were, if I'd have drains or need a binder, how long recovery would be and what I could expect, complication/death rate... I'm sure I asked other things, but they're not coming to mind right now!

Make sure you ask how long he's been doing this particular surgery and if he's had any leaks.
Ask anything and everything that you're concerned about. My father made a point in making sure I asked about pregnancy after VSG and how this will affect me when I'm 70! You can use the search option at the top of the page for any FAQ's that are on your mind. This board was extremely helpful for me when I was just getting started.
