NSV! I'm wicked strong :)

So yes maybe a slight braggy post.

I have become obsessed with yoga this year.  I remember doing it years ago and an hour long class was terrible.  I tried it a few times and more often than not would end up leaving part way through.  My shoulders couldn't hold myself up in downward dog!

Well lately I have been able to get into multiple arm balances.  I can hold my body up and balance on just my arms! Holy Canoli!

At the park I can do handstands and cartwheels, and roundovers.  These are things that even as a kid I could not do.  My son says I should show off, but I'm like -- this isn't showing off this is FUN.  Look what I can do with my body.  It's freaking amazing :)

Now I'm going for plastics on Friday, so I wont be able to have any fun w/ this body for quite a while.  Even though it's wicked cold, I might be found in the park playing the next couple of nights.

That is amazing!! Great job!! I hope to get into yoga as well.  Did you start with tapes or how did you get started?  I won't be able to do anything for several weeks (I get my sleeve on Thursday!!!), but yoga is something I think I would like to try when I can.

Good luck with plastics!!! You'll do great!!!  (we need an emoticon doing a cartwheel!)

I just started with a random class at the gyn.  It was so hard, but each week it got easier.  Enjoy it.

I had to wait 6 weeks before I could yoga.
