5-Month Surgiversury TODAY! -141.5
Hi everyone,
As the subject says, 5 months ago at this very hour, I was sitting in the recovery room coming out of the anesthesia. I never had any true regrets, but rather concerns (if you look at my blog you will see lol).
Originally, my goal was to lose 150lbs in the first 6 months. I am not sure how realistic or unrealistic that was. My surgeon thought it was a little aggressive, but I am pleased to report that # is within striking distance for next month. I weighed in this morning at my monthly date with the scale and I am down 141.5 lbs (in exactly 5 months). I am thrilled that I have lost a good chunk, but at the same time it is daunting and a tad depressing that I am only halfway to where I need to be! It is amazing how out of hand I let my weight problem become! I try not to dwell on it but sometimes I am not successful. I wish I did this 10 years ago but I guess better late than never.
As always I want to thank everyone for their kind words, help and support and I hope someday I can do the same for others on here !
Congratulations on your awesome success! Keep it up :D
