Protein Powders/Drinks
I prefer ones without asulfamene potassium sweetner (tastes too sweet and bitter to me). I chose ISO pure dutch chocolate, ISO 100 vanilla, and the Jay Robb powders b/c they are splenda or stevia sweetened. For ready to drink, the GNC total lean were ok too - but those do have the sweetner I don't like.

My favorite is double rich chocolate from optimum nutrition. I like that it's not a super sweet chocolate, it's more of a semisweet. I've been using it since January in at least one shake a day, and I'm not sick of it yet! I mix it with unsweetened original almond milk.

Marie: From day one after my surgery, I have used the UNJURY vanilla and chocolate splendor in Almond milk blended with ice. They are easy on the stomach and great tasting and fill me up. Sometimes I add some cinnamon. I also use the UNJURY chicken soup flavored one for lunches and I find it quite pleasant. Some of the other protein shakes were too dense and my new stomach didn't like them - I used to love Atkins shakes but can't abide them now (you can't go by what you like now - once you get your new stomach your tastes change). Good Luck. Harris
My go to RTD is Premier Protein. I also like the Bananna Creme by Muscle Milk.
As far as powders, my favorite is the Syntrax Matrix Double Stuff Cookie. I also like all of the Unjury flavors. My suggestion is to get samples from a site such as nashuanutrition.com. Unjury also has a sampler package.
