To all of you older gals *****plied to this wonderful post could you possibly share and challenges you had with the VSG surgery?  What did you find easy, what did you find hard?  I know as we age things seem to take a little longer getting accomplished....How long did it take all of you to get healthy and become the "svelte" women that you are?  Can't wait to read your replies ~ Kim

When you have adult contact checked it puts Asterisks where it "sees" a bad word.  I have it turned off so don't see asterisks.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Personally, my age did not limit me in any way whatsoever. I had exactly he same results as anyone else who chooses a very tight weight loss plan.  I reached a normal BMI in exactly 8 months and my personal goal weight at 9.5 months.  I'm successfully maintaining more than 10 pounds below that weight and I eat a 'high normal' number of calories daily. Lots of energy, no health issues, normal activity levels, but I can run half  marathons when I choose to train for them too.  What more can I say except there is no difference??  You can do this and have the same results 😻👍
