Sleep Apnea Question....
Ummm, I hate to contradict everyone but not being hooked up to a cpap machine doesn't mean you don't have sleep apnea. It just means that there was not such severe apnea that you had to be hooked up immediately or risk serious immediate medical risk. I had severe sleep apnea- stopped breathing over 60 times an hour--and that was not enough to be hooked up for the remainder of the test. There is a particular threshold depending on your facility's policy under which you are not immediately hooked up and over which you are. I waited 2 weeks I think for the results and it did make me crazy too. I went back in for a second night where they hooked me up to a cpap machine in order to find the proper settings. Call and see if they can see you sooner----Good luck!
