This is such a personal journey. I actually signed up on OH in 2006 as I was considering lapband. I never even made it to the informational meeting! Same thing in 2008. Now I am finally ready and set for surgery next week. I am convinced that I was waiting for the sleeve to become widely accepted and perfected!

That is quite a bit of weight to lose Marie so congrats!  Maybe it's normal to be afraid because the closer it gets for me the more jittery I become.  I too had been lurking and I have just started posting too. It's wonderful to be able to come here and hear others tell of their experiences. I am looking forward to getting to know you better and all the best to you!

Congrats on your weight loss.  I signed up here years ago, had lap-band in 2007, but now I'm back because I am scheduled for bypass in Nov.  I could use some support and hand holding too.  We can all help each other.
