I'm thinking of having the vertical sleeve but just wanted to know how many of you now wished you

had the RNY? and why? Thanks!!

I'm very happy that I had the sleeve. I started out thinking that I wanted the RNY, but upon further research I decided on the VSG -- I'm super happy with the result.

VSG: 12/12/13, LBL, small TL, BL/BA: 11/7/14 Twins 12/9/18 HW after Twins 260. 5'10 37 years old - Stacy_WLS (MFP)

I'm 6 months post-op and I've never once wished I had chosen the RNY. Yet I have had many times that I've been grateful I went with the sleeve and not the RNY!

Did to want my guts re routed or the dumping syndrome..

Thank you , ladies..... I feel like I have peace of mind now. Just have an inner fear of regaining. :( Terrified..... since it has happened SO MANY times before. Your input has put a light on things for me.

I love my sleeve! No dumping syndrome, no low iron. Chewable vitamin three times a day? I'll take it!!!!
