Is this pain normal
I'm still pre op, but I would expect that to be pretty normal for a couple weeks.

I had two spot that hurt - one where the stomach was removed and the instruments went in - they said it hurt because they cut through muscle. My second spot was on my back, which they thought maybe was a pulled muscle from my position on the table. Both hurt for about 4-5 weeks. : /

I had the same experience, it was because the muscle in that place had been stitched. It passed eventually.

I was sore near the incision where they pulled my stomach out of. Keep an eye on redness, swelling, puss, or worsening brusises by the incision lines - these can be signs of infection which needs to be treated asap. From my two c-section experiences, you tend to be a little more sore when healing vs. coming right out of surgery.
I woke up one morning and a spot near an incision on my left side hurt so bad. It was hard to get up and down. It hurt for about a week or so. Had to have help getting up and down and going to bed. Woke up one morning and it was gone. Have read on the Forum this happens quite often.
