This might be a good opportunity to make healthier choices for your family's eating habits as well as your own.

I know how hard it is... but don't worry the cravings will be much better post op. My family had pizza on Saturday, and it smelled friggin awesome, but the thought of it made me get nauseated!! The pre op diet works your brain in a funny way... LOL , I don't know WHY I don't want it, just the thought was not appealing..LOL

It will actually get so much easier. After your pre-op diet, and then going through the phases post-op, by the time you "could" technically have deep dish pizza, I'm betting you won't even want it. Not to mention that probably three bites would fill you up. I know it's hard right now, though. But it IS worth it!

I feel your pain! I'v been to Malnati's a couple of times, when in CHI for work. Good stuff!
10 days post op I was at my favorite pizza restaurant with my hubs and two good friends. I had a cup of decaf coffee. They had bacon dough that day...so hubs got a small za with that AND bacon topping OMG, that was tough, lol.
But some day not too far off I'll be able to enjoy a few bites again if I choose.
