I love the Aria -- it synchs up automatically w/ Myfitnesspal -- so I have great data and can look back at my weight over time easily :)

Question about your Aria. I have one too and most of the time I have to weigh twice. What happens is when I step on it, it just gives a weight and BF. That weight can be up to 5 lbs higher than expected. I let it do its thing, then step on again. The second time it will go through the whole routine of "Step on, step off, thinking..." And then present me with the lower weight. It will do that routine if I step on a third and fourth time. I don't understand why that first one is completely out of line. Does yours do a similar thing?

Got this one right before surgery.....

Healthometer 349KLX

Just weight and no frills..... no tweeters or instagram or any other random calculations...... go pee, get back on the scale and it goes down like it should.

Me and my scale (love my scale) lost 200lbs. together, tells me when I've been bad and tells me when I'm good..... never lies

5 years and it looks and works like brand new.......

Frisco, battery or plug in?? If battery how often have you had to replace? THX.

I changed it right at the get-go..... came with an off brand battery and I put a fresh coppertop in it and I don't think I've changed it. (note to self.... change battery)

I should also note that this thing is dead nuts to my cardiologists certified scale and my surgeons scale..... no surprises at appointments.

My travel luggage can be right up to 49.8lbs. and it weighs the same at the airport !

I'm sure there are other scales out there that are just as good and look better, this one is a no nonsense "tool"..... and it fits in with the "eclectic" look.

If your a Myfitnesspal person getting a scale that syncs up would be a good feature.... I'm not that sophisticated.

I also have the Aria. Love it! (When it loves me! lol) I like that it syncs with my fitbit, MyFitnessPal, and TrendWeight. Lazy is the last thing I need to be, but my brain sure does appreciate not having to remember the number to enter everywhere.

I like the Aria for the reasons mentioned above.

However, don't expect any scale you buy to give you perfection.  The best you're likely to come across will still give you a touch of randomness.  It's just what you got to deal with, after all NASA isn't selling you the scale and it won't cost a bajillion dollars either.

Also, in case your weren't already clued in, weighing daily can give you a variety of results.  I did it myself, but you have to figure out how not to care about the numbers day to day so it doesn't effect you mentally.  The only reason to measure daily is to create a base of measurements you can look back on say weekly or monthly.
