Whatcha eating today VSGers...Tuesday!!
I'm making a serious attempt at getting my calories over 1200, so I decided to add another meal/snack. When I tried adding calories to existing meals, I ended up adding carbs, and my weight jumped up, causing me to panic. So now I'm going to try a 4th meal with more of the same - dense proteins and healthy veggies. We'll see how this works.
Breakfast- salmon
Lunch -crustless cheeseburger quiche and roasted red peppers and zucchini
Snack - hamburger with cheddar cheese
Dinner -slow cooker thai chicken thighs and green beans
vitamins- done
water -good
exercise - recumbent bike, as always

I think your plan of a 4th meal makes sense - coming from another three meal a day person. That's what I'm figuring I'll do when I reach maintenance as well.

2: tuna pouch w/ remainder of my half acorn squash from dinner the other night
2.5: natural vanilla seeds from graze - I just checked the ingredients before posting this and apparently they've got honey in them which ***** my stomach up. "Yay." Added those to the trash list which is sad since they're really tasty.
3: greek chicken salad w/ pitas for the guys
water and vites: on track
exercise: 65 minutes on the treadmill at 1% incline for a total of 3.4 miles. I started the official couch to 5k program this week and today was day 2 of that. 85 minutes of yoga - 30 min intermediate stretches for runners, 10 mins gentle backbends for back pain, 10 mins ab strengthening for back pain (omg hard - reclined twist flow?!), 15 mins lower back, hips & glutes for back pain, 15 mins twist & align for back pain, and 5 mins short balance (class of my own devising)
