I drank ISOPURE for a while.....I mixed them with Crystal Light, but still got where I didn't like the after taste.  I have always liked protein drinks but got where I couldn't choke another one down.  I do like Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale.  Someone on here told me about .....Genepro http://www.musclegen.net/ .... this is oderless and tasteless and does not clump.  You can add it to hot or cold....or just sprinkle over your food.  This stuff is great.  One tablespoon equals a scoop of Whey and has 30 grams of protein.  It is approved by John Hopkins and has 96% absorbtion.  You can also order it from Amazon.  I go by every morning to a  shake shop....get a Chunky Monkey (35 grams of protein).....add a scoop of Genepro (30 grams of protein)....mid morning I fix a Crystal Light and add another scoop.....I already have 95 grams for the day!!!  I believe someone stated that they contacted their website and they sent her free samples......Good Luck

Seriously - don't buy anything but single servings right now of different brands and flavors and DONT try them until you are post op.  What tastes good now could taste like pure poison post-op.

I lucked out: I went to my local vitamin store and explained to the sales associate there that I was going to be having bariatric surgery, and needed a high protein/low calorie powder, and he suggested this: http://www.vitaminworld.com/whey-protein-isolates/whey-prote in-isolate-chocolate-0070031471.html

This Whey Protein Isolate is really good-tasting, good quality, and really fills you up for hours, and it's very well-tolerated in the stomach.  I highly recommend it!

Syntrax Nectar has been my fave. I haven't had a flavor I didn't like, and I've tried Cappucino, Chocolate Truffle, Vanilla bean torte, and Fuzzy Navel (peach). I also have their unflavored. I love that it dissolves so well and cleanly, and I like the flavors.

Note that Syntrax MATRIX is a different formula and includes lactose. I looooved the flavor Peanut Butter Cookie but it gives me nothing but GI distress.

I bought 5 pounds of muscle feast protein and almost 2 weeks into liquid diet it just makes me sick to my stomach so the samples sizes of protein I think would have been better because it's a different type of protein; soy, whey, rice, what have you.  And I've heard people talk about how after surgery that they don't like the kind of protein that they used beforehand anyways

I love the Premier Protein Chocolate (30g protien) shakes and I just tried the Isopure (40g protein) water from GNC in the fruit punch yesterday. It will come in handy during the clear liquids phase :)

Like others, I highly recommend you buy samples to try. One person's delicious may be another's least favorite drink. Everyone raves about Fuzzy Navel and I thought it was barfy, threw it out.  Try a variety and you will find what you like. Good luck.

I just received my Unjury Variety pack and I am excited!  It came with 2 packs of Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Unflavored and the Chicken soup.  They also give you a 4 oz Rubbermaid Shaker Bottle and a Thermometer.  My surgery is Sept. 26th so I am starting to get things ready for my two week pre-surgery diet.  My diet plan is drinking two protein shakes per day and one meal of lean protein and veggies.  I will be using the protein prior to surgery.  :)

I found the Chike Coffee from posts on this site. Really enjoy it. I buy unflavored from Amazon from a company called bulksupplements.com. it is good for mixing in cottage cheese and SF pudding etc to bulk up your protein count after surgery. Also like the Jay Robb. Milder flavored than most. Chocolate and orange creamsicle uses stevia too.
