BOOBS!
OMG I totally understand where you're coming from! I have always had big boobs even when I was in High School (38DDD) to me they looked and felt big. After gaining weight I was at 46DDD. Don't know my actual size now as I haven't been measured and have only lost 50 lbs so far but my boobs feel WAY smaller. Even my husband agreed with me LOL. I think its all relative. We are just use to the bigger size and now in comparison think they are small when in reality they probably aren't.
One of the very best things about losing weight is losing that shelf I had just below my neck. You know the one--the unibreast that goes all the way around your body. Such a relief that most of that is gone! I think I've only gone from a 48C to a 42B so far, but the difference is fabulous, and I don't feel like I have sandbags instead of breasts any longer!
I really wonder what will happen with mine. When I was thinner, they were actually larger...the weight has given me hormone issues. I was at a 38 DD heading rapidly for a DDD right before I suddenly gained 60+lbs, which put me at a 42D. But I've never been thin as an adult, just less than I am now. I'm sure my band size will go down a little, but most of my weight is below there. My poor mother, who has never even been obese, used to be a 34DDD, and could never find bras. Fortunately a few years ago she got a reduction. It was always my plan to get one anyway after having kids. This is the only part that has hubby a little wistful.
For a brief moment in time, I was a 32C and I was SO HAPPY. But I gained back some weight and most of it seems to be in my boobs. I'm a 32DD or DDD now and I hate it. I have to buy my bras at Macys or Nordstroms -- no one else carries those sizes right in the store -- and they are expensive. No $18 bras for me!
Plus I feel top-heavy and I look stupid in my triathlon clothes because the sports bras don't really support you like a regular bra so I'm saggy. Oh and I have to buy special sports bras too. Which are extra expensive.
If I ever get PS, I might get a reduction.
