BOOBS!

Hi Stacey- at my heaviest 238 lbs I was wearing 42DDD, now after losing 77lbs at 161 lbs I am wearing 38DD, so I am still pretty big compared to many, but feeling smaller.   I am also 62 years old, so can you say DROOPY!  I think I fill the DD cups with a lot of loose skin.

After I've maintained at about 150 (hope t get there this fall) for a year I'll see if a boob lift will be covered.

So I sympathize and understand- I feel smaller but not better.

I wore a 40DD WEIGHED 220lbs, now I'm 141lbs and wear a saggy 34B! I miss having boobs! I plan to have augmentation sometime next year. It doesn't help that my boyfriend is a boob man and always says he misses my old boobs :-/

I'm happy with everything else though! I went from a size 20 to a 6 so if I never get boobs I will still be thankful for my sleeve!!!

I can't believe you just posted this because I have been wrestling with sadness that comes with my now deflated boobs that were once so full and looked great in my tops!  Was the only part of me I loved.  Now they feel soft and mushy and just kind of hang there!  I also am a 36-38D so it isn't like they are tiny, but just deflated.  Hard to explain!  Well today I was browsing in Target.  They had bras for $18 as well.  I got a padded push up bra in 38D.  I came home and tried it on and couldn't believe my eyes!  I had my old boobs back!!  I think you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable as far as plastic surgery, but try a padded bra and it may change your mind completely!

your best waiting more than 1 year before getting plastics many surgeons will not do it till you finish the weight lose phase and are a stable weight for 1 year

and I now have tube socks thats right my 52 ggg's are now tube socks , but a great bra from a foundation shop , not Victoria's secret will make them look great , a cheap bra will not last and will not make you look your best

Hey there,

I was the same size as you when i started 42DD. My boobs were actually the last place i have lost weight. I too know exactly what you are feeling like. They are still "big" b/c of the excess skin. No bra is going to help that, especially when we are naked and all we are is fixated on that. I dont necessarily if the question is how big, more like just round them out LOL. MIne are like flat ugly pancakes when I am naked, but my balconette bras do wonders.  Maybe all you need is a lift, like you suggested above. What did the PS say or recommend. Honestly, i think they would have the best suggestions. And even though you selected your PS, maybe go get a second opinion just to confirm your feelings.

I just want some shape to them underneath rather than go explosive. From other people I know who have gotten them, they are swollen at first and then it goes down. If you lose more weight too and continue to tone up, you also dont want to go too big and then have this totally fit frame with the huge boobies LOL.

For my own knowledge, when you do decide what you are going to do, I would be interested in knowing ify ou wouldn't mind sharing.

I saw two surgeons and they both said a lift w/ implants.  They said the breast would not look full without the implants.  I think I just need to be assertive that I do not want them too big.  People tend to say the surgeon's like to go big.

At my smallest, I was a 36D.  Today I'm a 38D and quite content with it.  A 36C is easier to find bras anywhere, though.  It's something to keep in mind.

I have a totally different perspective...

Prior to surgery I was a 44DD or a bit bigger. At goal, 38C but very likely could have pulled off a 36C or 36D,just never tried. But I have to say it was not the same type of fill in the bra cup... a lot or fair amount was loose skin. Yes, the cleavage looked good and a good bra gave me shape that I didn't really have.  Fast forward and I am now in the advanced stages of reconstructive surgery resulting from a double mastectomy. At the moment, I am right at my former bra size of 38C. And I look smaller.  It is weird because the girls are now sitting up higher, perkier, and no extra skin. I originally told the PS I wanted to end up with a full C or small D, but now I think I may go a little more... a full D.

I think surgery just changes the girls.
