Carol, I keep hoping I'll be able to toss the cpap, too, and every once in a while I'll try to sleep without it. Since surgery, it hasn't been nearly as effective, and I'm having really bad dry mouth issues, but when I do sleep without it, I snore and STILL wake up with dry mouth. Sucks. I'll wait a while, but eventually I'll go in for a new sleep study, too. Maybe it just needs an adjustment, and just maybe, once I unload more weight, I'll be able to let it go.
I wake up with terrible dry-mouth every morning, too. Its good to know I'm not the only one!
At first, I worried I was dehydrated, but I am drinking my 64+ ounces of water a day.
I hope we can both get rid of the CPAPs soon. Good luck,
Carol
