Not sure which shake you mean, so here are recipes for both. You can vary them depending on what you have on hand, but this is what I use:
Chike hazelnut mocha: 1 scoop Chike iced coffee protein powder, 1 cup Carbmaster milk (any flavor), 1 shot Torani SF chocolate syrup, 1 shot Torani SF classic hazelnut syrup. Numbers: 125 calories, 21 grams protein, 8 grams carbs
Chocolate peanut butter salted caramel shake: .75 scoop chocolate protein powder (I used Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Extreme Milk Chocolate), 1 cup chocolate Carbmaster milk, 1 shot Torani SF salted caramel syrup, 1 T. PB2 with chocolate. Numbers: 195 calories, 12 grams carbs, 31 grams protein. This would be lower calorie and carb if you used plain or vanilla Carbmaster milk and added a shot of SF Torani chocolate syrup, or some chocolate Sweet Drops, instead. Or way lower calorie if you used almond milk or flax milk, but of course lower protein as well. It's always a trade off!
Today is my first day of puree... hooray!
B: Half of a premier protein vanilla shake (took me 4 hours to get it all in)
L: 2 oz. pureed potato cheese soup, thinned with skim milk
S: 1 triangle of Light Laughing Cow spreadable cheese (took 2.5 hours)
D:???? Any suggestions?
Am I eating enough? I am nowhere near my protein or water goals yet. I was hoping it would be easier on the pureed stage. Not so much.
The day I started pureed foods was the happiest day of my life. I was still drinking 1-2 shakes a day.
