Did anyone else have manometry before VSG? Is this Standard?

I only ask because now - after months of insurance battles and tests they want me to have a manometry test. Someone thought I had a band in currently and was doing a revision. This is NOT the case. So I am wondering if anyone else has had manometry for the sleeve.

I wasn't required to have that test, in fact I'd never heard of it till I read this post and googled it.

Nope, gonna have to google what it is.

Edit: Does not sound pleasant.

Not before. But have to have one. 3 months post op due to continued issues even after hernia repair.  Wish inhad done it pre op.
