I've been a Ravelry knitter for about 6 years I think. I started knitting before my youngest son was born. I wanted to make him some wool diaper covers (we used cloth diapers) and they were SO expensive to buy. I figured I could do it. I'm very excited to find a fellow knitter here! I'm also trinoc on Rav...if you want to find me! I don't get on there very much right now because I'm finding I have to choose between knitting and reading and lately it's been books. When it cools off, my needles will click again. And no, I've never been to that festival. Would love to do it someday.
