Tomorrow is my birthday, and so I'll have some challenges when it comes to getting together with friends and family. I think I am going to plan a popcorn incident for Sunday when I go out with my homies to see the new Planet of the Apes film, I think my family will forego the red velvet cake I love in favor of the berries and unsweetened whipped cream I've asked for on Friday. The hard part will be the two things planned for Saturday--another movie and dinner at my favorite restaurant (Japanese fusion--nice small portions that we can share, but no saki!), and another small birthday celebration with my knitting group at the bakery we meet at every Saturday morning. It should all be ok, though, really. I will order protein at the Japanese place, no popcorn at the movie with my mom, and I never get anything to eat at the bakery, anyway, and haven't for over a year. Should be fun!
Happy early birthday! Your celebration weekend sounds fantastic :D

Awesome! My birthday is Saturday. I've got similar plans to forego cake and a choosing a healthy dinner option. We're going to a baseball game on Monday (Sounds aren't in town over the weekend) and I'm seeing a movie with a friend on Sunday. So jealous of your knitting group! I was in a great group before we moved a couple of years ago. Haven't found one here. :-(
Happy early birthday, trinoc!!! Where are you guys located? For some reason I thought you might be in TX. Do you ever go to the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck? I go to that every year with a bunch of my knitting friends from Ravelry.com (if you aren't on there, yet, do it now!). How awesome that you knit, too!!!!
