Protein Ice Cream -- wow!
So I have read about it on blogs, but tonight I tried it and man it is GOOD! I put in EggFace's link - I used a modified version of her recipe.
I blended up 1c skim milk, 2 scoops of chocolate unjury protein powder & a bit of caramel sugar free syrup. I put in my ice cream maker for ~15 minutes and then in the freezer for an hour or two.
I just ate half of it w/ some chopped almonds on top. Wow it was fantastic AND hasn't created the cravings that I get from regular ice cream. This is likely to become a staple! I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow before I eat the rest.
