Please don't give up!  You have done so well and accomplished so much!  Look at your stats...100 pounds!  You've lost 100 pounds, that is seriously amazing and wonderful and inspiring.  You INSPIRE me!!  I think Carol's tips might be useful for you.  I watch what you and Carol are doing because I'm starting out in a similar position.  I look up to what you guys have accomplished.  You've come so far, keep plugging away Cajunlady, you can do it!

I was at goal and then regained and have been battling that regain for the last 3 years...very disheartening, but the last thing I WILL do is give up.  Don't give up on yourself just reach out and ask for help and keep working the plan until something sticks.

First day off purees!

 

B: Vanilla protein powder mixed with water

S: 1/4 small Haas avocado, 2 tsp. refried beans

L: Banana nut protein powder mixed with water

S: vitamins

D: chickpea 'omelette' with 1tbsp. refried beans, 2tsp mashed avocado

 

I've got in about half my water, need to step up on the rest of it.

Highest weight - 260  Surgery weight - 197.5  Current Weight - 152

I am finished with liquids.  YAY.  So far the soft stuff seems to be sitting well, for which I am grateful, although my restriction has really taken a beating.  I'm looking forward to seeing the surgeon on Friday and deciding what to do next, if anything.  

1: frankenshake
2: soup
2.5: sheep feta and cracker
3: protein shake
4: refried beans and guacamole

water and vites: on track! So happy to be taking my vites again.
exercise: 65 minutes on the treadmill at 1% incline for a total of 2.94 miles

I'm also making this for dinner for the guys - coconut milk chicken curry

breakfast - crock pot chicken salsa verde and broccoli slaw

Lunch - Pesto chicken from Trader Joe's  - I'm finishing up all the chicken I cooked this weekend!

Dinner - hamburger and cheddar and mixed veggies

vitamin - done

water -good

exercise - recumbent bike - done

Day 9 Pre-op diet...down 20 pounds in 9 days?!  HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?  Of course, the first several days I would have eaten the arm off the chair if I could have...

B: Chocolate coffee protein drink

L: aww...nothing, not hungry and busy at work and forgot (two bottles of water)

D: Lean Cuisine frozen dinner (part of pre-op plan)

S:  I need 2 or three more shakes and haven't even had dinner yet...might not get everything in today

Water: done and will have more

Vitamins: D3, haven't started multi yet

Exercise: walk outside while little guy plays tonight

I'm going to have to drink a protein shake in a little while so that I hit my protein number.
