"Normal" at last
I was able to almost reach my third goal at 9 months and have been with in 5-10 pounds for the last eight months. Today I was able to reach a "normal" bmi. I don't feel any different than I did with the other five but, it is nice to see the number.
Pondering, when meeting the criteria for my revision I had to be bmi 35 with two co-morbs. I was a few pounds shy so had to weigh a few more before approved. That said, the PCP weighed me with shoes the surgery center without. One measured height with shoes one without This number is so arbitrary it just seems silly that bmi of 34 was a no go but 35 was a go. Looking at charts some state with shoes with 1 inch heals others don't but the numbers are the same I found where I feel good, 125 pounds gone and have no medical issues weight related. Life is good with this sleeve!

rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I find your comment about height measurements with or without shoes interesting. Because of a car accident and a snow skiing accident, I have a leg that is 1/2 inch shorter than the other. So when I was measured for my pre-op BMI, I 'stood' on my shorter leg. No one was the wiser.
Take care.
