Need prayers for strength

I'm just finishing up two weeks of liquid diet. My surgery is tomorrow.  Before I did it I couldn't imagine going two weeks without food, but strangely enough it wasn't that bad. Pretend you like the protein shakes and drink them up. I found they really curbed my appetite and weren't all that bad. I even hosted two cookouts over Memorial Day weekend and wasn't even tempted to snitch a bite. You can do this!

Thank you and for some reason I don't think the shakes are half bad!! Hope my taste doesn't change afterwards.

What a beautiful thing to know that we are never alone even when we go through our struggles and mind games...all the advice given so far is outstanding and will strengthen you....I too was  encouraged just from reading it.

God bless you for your decision and your commitment! Remember He is for your total success!

This is a support board for weight loss surgery.  If you require or seek relevant medical advice, diet strategies, exercise tips etc and would like more information about weight loss surgery then this is a great support group to participate in.  However this is not a place to come to and ask for prayers.  Support is provided here through practical tangible advice.  If you have access to a higher power, you probably don't need the advice here.  I believe there is a religous board if you would like!

Calm down. This board is for support across the spectrum of the WLS journey. If the OP's request for prayers makes you uncomfortable, perhaps you could, I don't know, not read the thread?

...That sure works for me when people start posting about drinking alcohol and eating popcorn
